Clinical Residency in Implantology with Advanced Surgery
Oriseducare offers clinical residencies in advanced implantology, in which different regenerative techniques for increasing the volume of the residual bone crest will be addressed.
The advanced surgery residencies are aimed at those who already have implants and want to develop or perfect certain surgical techniques. These residencies will cover the main techniques for increasing bone volume in the alveolar ridge, always from a conservative and non-invasive perspective. They will cover techniques for harvesting intraoral autologous grafts; ROG; increasing the height of the alveolar ridge with onlay-type block grafts; horizontal distraction of the alveolar crest (split crest) and elevation of the maxillary sinus.
The program of each residency comprises a teaching component and a surgical component. In the teaching component, the surgical technique is explained step-by-step, complemented by the presentation and discussion of various clinical cases and the scientific evidence of the same, in an informal, knowledge-sharing environment. The trainee will then watch live surgeries using the technique described. At the end of the session there will be a new theoretical component where the trainee can discuss the different aspects of the technique used as well as present and discuss treatment plans that fall within the scope of the training.
Each trainee decides which techniques they want to watch.
The clinical residencies in advanced implantology will be taught by Dr. Salomão Rocha.
During 2019 in the OrisEducare the following Advanced Implantology residencies will take place:
- Horizontal bone distraction - Split Crest - in the approach to narrow residual ridge.
- Maxillary sinus lift - Lateral window technique
- Maxillary sinus lift - Transalveolar technique
- Immediate implants in the aesthetic zone
- Guided bone regeneration with biomaterials
- Bone autografts
